Inner City Scaffolding recently completed the erection of a 36m high access scaffolding,
heavy-duty loading gantry and 300kg lifting frame. ICS were tasked with the initial design, a scope to provide safe working access to the external façade while maintaining a gap between the scaffold and the building, facilitating the flue extension to the full height of the building.

At present, the Scaffold is fully installed and in service, with adaptions for all supporting steelworks prior to the flue extension ready to be undertaken.

Inner City were excellent at understanding the project constraints and surrounding risks when designing their scaffolds. This took into account the environment, consents required and the use of existing infrastructure. This is extremely important in a railway environment where the safety of the operation railway in of paramount importance.
