Scope of works:
A construction project for new apartments requiring independent scaffolding to the back and rear of the building plus a heavy-duty gantry 10 kn psm to house office and welfare units was specified.
The scaffolding was erected in floor level lifts for window, and structural work then adapted to intermediate hop uplifts for the bricklayer’s work.
The building was located centrally between two buildings and required a hanging scaffold.
It was supported by truss out scaffolding from the roof on both sides to allow the construction of a new floor without impeding on neighbouring buildings.

Inner City were excellent at understanding the project constraints and surrounding risks when designing their scaffolds. This took into account the environment, consents required and the use of existing infrastructure. This is extremely important in a railway environment where the safety of the operation railway in of paramount importance.
