Valentines day
In the tradition of valentines day, we asked our senior management team what projects they loved working on, and why!
Ben
Current Favourite Project: The Skinners Hall, London
Reason: The Skinners Hall is a project that brings together a culmination of new and traditional engineered concepts on what is one of London’s most prestigious heritage projects. The project is reminiscent of a similar landmark project in London I was involved in some years ago, whilst challenging and taking a huge amount of front-end planning, ensuring all parties buy into the vision, it brings out the best in all stakeholders with proof is in the pudding benefit. To date, the project has been delivered with great workmanship and has all the key hallmarks of an ‘Inner City’ job.

Current Favourite Project: RNLI Littlestone
Reason: The RNLI Littlestone project was a project Inner City Scaffolding undertook alongside our sister company Inner City Environmental. The overall project aim for our client was the removal of asbestos. We, therefore, had to provide an enclosure for our clients to create an internal enclosure for the removal of the AIB. This provided protection from the elements, due to working alongside the shoreline. This project has a close place in my heart due to its beautiful location, and the end client being RNLI, a charity that risks its lives to save others. It made a change to the usual city setting I am used to working in.

Current Favourite Project: King William Street
Reason: This project was a complex yet satisfying project to be part of. This was one of our first inner city, high-risk city projects, challenging us as a company, and enabling us to further expand our skillset. Working 35 Meters above Monument Station, the views were incredible. Innovation, resilience, and hard work are just some of the words I would use to describe, to sum up, this project. The project was also featured in the access point’s web blog, which can be seen here:
