Innovative Solutions 

Here as illustrated, is an example of one innovative solution supplied within large scale temporary roofing. The innovation we provided was a bespoke supported NIKO Type 27 Runway Track System, including bends and pneumatic switches for one of our projects. The system is of cold rolled steel, with tapered sides to reduce the possibility of dust build-up and snag, ensuring the trolleys’ smooth running, whilst lifting various loads simultaneously to multiple areas within the project.

This innovative solution allowed for materials to be transported across the entire building from an individual load point, ensuring the preservation of the original infrastructure which was key to this project. Due to the overall building methodology required, without this system, a permanent tower crane would have been required to facilitate the lifting of structures on and off the building. This would have dramatically increased the cost of the project, along with causing major disruption to the building and neighbouring properties.
