We were appointed to erect accessing scaffolding at our Sudbury project so that asbestos containing materials (ACM’s) could be removed from the building. The asbestos was coated on the roof steels and a safe platform needed to be stablished so that they could be removed.
Erect birdcage scaffold within a 2250m2 warehouse so that access can be gained to the roof space.
Scaffold erected in 3 stages, with the warehouse divided into 3 sections.
3600 scaffold boards were used to create the required platform.
External scaffolding erected on gable ends of the warehouse so that the gable end steels could accessed. This external scaffold also houses the negative pressure units for the asbestos removal.
